these tips

The skin on the face is more sensitive and tender than the rest of the body, while the lips are ten times more sensitive and tender than the face. Due to this sensitivity, the first effect of the weather is on the lips and the putty freezes on them, especially in the cold weather, the lips are affected the most and it is very difficult to maintain them in their original condition. Women use various marketed lotions, and lip balms to make their lips soft, supple, and attractive in winter, which works for a while but their effect wears off soon. Below are some winter lip care tips that will hopefully keep your lips soft and supple.

 1. Protect lips from cold air:

The cold, dry winds of winter affect the lips first. It is very important to protect the lips from frost in the winter season, otherwise, they will become dry and chapped.

Instructions:

When going out, take a scarf and cover your lips to avoid the wind.

Apply lip balm three to four times a day.

Use a lip balm with an SPF of 15 to protect your lips from UV rays.

2. Homemade Mask:

You can also make a homemade mask to keep your lips soft. These masks are very easy to make and can be made using common ingredients like honey, butter, and olive oil.

Method:

Just take honey and apply it on the lips, mix it with glycerin if desired and apply the mixture on the lips before going to bed.

Take the fresh mixture and apply it on the lips and leave it on for ten minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this once a day in winter.

Mix one teaspoon of rose water with honey and apply it on the lips and leave it for 15 minutes.

Then wash with lukewarm water. Drink once daily.

 3. Keep lips moisturized throughout the day:

Lips dry out faster than other parts of the body. Below are some tips to keep your lips fully moisturized. By following these tips, you can protect your lips from the effects of cold, dryness, and cold weather.

Tips:

Keep the lip balm with you and apply it every now and then.

Dab the toothbrush on your lips. It helps to get rid of dryness on the lips.

Remember that the brush should be very soft. Apply olive or coconut oil on the lips and massage for a few minutes.

This process will keep your lips moist and fresh.

4. Lip Care Before Sleeping:

Before going to sleep, especially in winter, make it a habit to wash your lips with lukewarm water, dry them with tissue paper or a soft towel and apply balm. This habit will keep your lips fresh and hydrated to a great extent.

How to use:

Buy an oil-based lip balm and keep it with you while sleeping and apply the lotion on your lips as soon as you open your eyes. In this way, the lips will be kept from drying out. Mix one teaspoon of glycerin and one teaspoon of rose water and apply on the lips. You can also use this solution to keep your face fresh.

Almond or coconut oil can also be used as a lip balm.

5. Do not turn your tongue over your lips:

Most people have this habit they feel dryness on their lips and trying to wet them with their tongue. But be aware that saliva immediately dries the lips and makes them drier instead of moisturizing them.

Instructions:

Immediately give up the habit of rolling your tongue over your lips.

Remember that even in carelessness, do not put your tongue on your lips, or cut with your teeth or nails.

Keep a lip balm with you and apply it after a while.
